Sixteen93 are a close-knit team of experienced individuals within the industry who have come together to create, offer, and supply a highly bespoke USA Sports Scholarship service for young student-athletes. The combination of our experience & strong coaching network means we can provide high quality guidance and support for young, talented aspiring student-athletes. This gives our clients opportunities to pursue their dreams of playing US Collegiate sport, whilst simultaneously working towards a university degree.

MISSION
At Sixteen93 our mission is to deliver a bespoke and quality service to all our clients, also creating a community environment for all families involved. As we have all previously been student athletes, and having years of first-hand experience with scholarship placements, we understand that it can be a daunting leap to make the move to the US, therefore we want to ensure that the transition is as smooth and enjoyable as possible, by offering an honest and transparent approach. We also make sure all our clients and their parents have strong pastoral care and will all be supported until graduation in the US..


Kristian Moore-Cowell
Director
Kristian is a former student-athlete who graduated from Limestone University (NCAA DII) with a degree in Sport & Business Management. He attended on a soccer scholarship in which he both captained and earned All American status. He also spent time playing in the USL2 & NPSL in Ohio and North Carolina. After graduating Kristian has spent the last 5 years working within in the college recruitment industry, guiding hundreds of athletes to successful US Scholarship placements. Now as Co-Founder & Director of 1693, Kristian has the following to say:
“Through my own experiences of being both a student-athlete and a US Scholarship consultant, it is undeniable that US College Sports is the place to be if you want to play full time sport and work towards a university degree. I can honestly say that studying and playing in the USA was the best decision that I ever made. It now feels great to create a world class service and support system for young talented athletes that allows them to fulfil their potential both athletically & academically, as well as having a life changing experience. We have built a passionate team here at 1693 and have a culture that will be highly beneficial for our future client in order for them to be successful”
Luke Brown
Director
Luke is a former student-athlete, who represented Hofstra University (NCAA D1) on a soccer scholarship, before transferring to Division 1 National Champions, University of Maryland, for his senior year. Alongside this, Luke also competed in the USL 2 for 3 seasons, playing for Portland Phoenix, Seacoast Phantoms and Lionsbridge FC. He studied marketing, as well as sociology and upon finishing his time in the US has worked within college recruitment for the past 4 years, helping numerous student-athletes follow the same pathway. The Co-Founder and Director of 1693 had the following to say:
“My time in the US created some of the fondest memories of my life, from both an athletic and academic perspective, as well as socially, and it is a pleasure to be able to support aspiring student-athletes on the same pathway. The connections I made have opened more doors than I ever could have imagined. The level of college sport initially took me by surprise due to the professional set up and standard of soccer, and the academic pathways are second to none. For young, talented individuals, looking to compete at a high level within their sport, without having to sacrifice their academics, there really is nothing that compares!”
Adam Thompson
US Scholarship Consultant
Adam is a former student-athlete who graduated from University of Houston-Victoria (NAIA) with a degree in Kinesiology: Sports Management. He attended on a scholarship and was a 4-year captain, achieving both playing and academic conference honours. He also spent time in the summer playing and captaining in the NPSL in Texas. After graduating Adam swiftly joined the team at Sixteen93, to follow his passion of guiding young players to successful careers within the US. Since joining the team, Adam has the following to say:
"During my time in the States, I came to understand what an incredible opportunity it was. The US played a pivotal role in shaping me, not only as a player but as a person. I never imagined I’d be able to earn my degree while living the lifestyle of a professional athlete. It's an experience I can’t recommend highly enough. I'm proud to be part of the tight-knit team we’ve built here, and I’m excited to help young players discover the amazing opportunities that are out there."
Jon Fraser
Media & Marketing
Jon is a former-student athlete, graduating from Hofstra University (NCAA D1) with a degree in Marketing. Jon was a 4-year starter, winning the CAA conference which earned him appearances in the NCAA national tournament. He also spent the summer of 2017 playing in the USL2 summer league for KW United in Canada, alongside players who would go onto represent their country at the World Cup. Since graduating, Jon has started his own marketing agency gaining valuable experience in social media and paid advertising and is now bringing that experience to the Sixteen93 team:
"I couldn't be happier to be working with my former teammate Luke Brown and the rest of the Sixteen93 team. My time in America was packed full of eye-opening experiences, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to pass on that experience to young footballers who are looking to make their mark on the game in the States. The friendships, travelling, professional environment, and many special moments on the pitch are what it's all about and I'm extremely excited to help the next generation make the most of this opportunity."
Grace Kingham
Client Services
Originally from London, Grace grew up in Hong Kong and developed her passion for football, playing for Hong Kong Football Club’s academy. She moved back to London at 16 and played with the Arsenal Women’s Development Squad for two years alongside local clubs. She went to Lancaster University to obtain a degree in Criminology and Sociology. Post graduation, she joined Sixteen93 to help young aspiring student-athletes achieve their goals of having successful careers in the US.
“While I never played collegiate sport in the US, having visited many American universities, and living abroad has opened my eyes to the opportunities that can be gained from such an experience. Studying abroad is an adventure that built my confidence, connected me to people from all over the world and provided numerous exciting opportunities - I can’t recommend it enough! I’m excited to be part of the team here at Sixteen93 and to play a role in your journey to the US!”
Lottie Turner
Soccer Consultant
Lottie is a former student-athlete who spent five years in the United States, where she played and studied while completing both her undergraduate degree and a Master's degree in Exercise Science. During her time in the US, Lottie played at Life University and experienced the opportunity to compete at a high level, including being part of a record-breaking season during her third year. Alongside her studies and playing career, she also gained coaching experience at the college level, further developing her understanding of the US college soccer system and the student-athlete experience.
“My time in the US was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I was able to combine my passion for football with my education, while playing at a high level and experiencing a completely different culture. The experience helped me grow both as a player and as a person, and I came away with a degree, a Master's, lifelong friendships and memories that I will always value. Having personally been through the process, I understand how exciting but also overwhelming it can feel, which is why I am so passionate about helping young athletes and their families navigate the journey and make the most of the incredible opportunities available to them.”
